Landon Gaddis is a freelance trombonist based in Los Angeles, California that specializes on alto, tenor, and bass trombones.

 

Landon currently works as the trombonist for the National Tour of the Broadway musical, Chicago. Prior to joining Chicago, Landon worked as a sub for multiple performances on The Book of Mormon National Tour. In addition to his work with musical theater, Landon has also had the privilege of working on various film and television projects. In 2024, Landon toured as the tenor trombonist on Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Live in Concert U.S. Tour. He also worked on the Los Angeles show of the One Piece Music Symphony 25th Anniversary World Tour, which celebrated the hit anime TV show. Other recent professional engagements include performances with the Topanga Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony Orchestra (GA), and LaGrange Symphony Orchestra. Landon has appeared as a performer at the 2021 International Trombone Festival and the 2022 Hawaii Trombone Workshop.

 

Landon holds a bachelor’s degree in Trombone Performance from the Schwob School of Music where he studied with Dr. Bradley Palmer. Upon graduation from Schwob, Landon moved to Los Angeles where he studied under the legendary film studio trombonist, Alex Iles.

 

In his free time, Landon enjoys hiking, collecting vinyl records, and watching movies.
